Album Overview

"I Love You So F***ing Much" is the fourth studio album by the English indie rock band Glass Animals, released on 19 July 2024 through Polydor Records. It follows their previous album, "Dreamland," which came out almost four years earlier in 2020. Before the album's release, the band put out a single called "Creatures in Heaven" on 3 April 2024. The album explores themes of personal growth, the challenges of fame, and the deep connections that define our lives. Through simple yet powerful lyrics and melodies, Glass Animals aim to resonate with listeners on an emotional level.

This new album was partly inspired by the success of their 2020 hit song "Heat Waves." The band's lead singer, Dave Bayley, shared his thoughts on how that success impacted him. He said that sometimes people can't change as quickly as life demands, especially on a personal level. The fame and recognition made him feel like he was just watching things happen, rather than being an active part of them. This feeling made him confused about who he was and whether anything around him was real.
