Alba Farelo Solé (born March 7, 1997) was born in Vilassar de Mar, Catalonia, Spain. She is a Spanish singer, songwriter, DJ, and model. She is professionally known as Bad Gyal. she rose to fame in 2016 after uploading a Catalan cover of Rihanna’s hit song "Work" to YouTube. Her unique sound, which often includes heavy use of Auto-Tune, quickly caught attention and earned her a loyal fan base. Following the success of her cover, she began releasing her own music independently, with tracks like "Indapanden," "Jacaranda," and "Fiebre" gaining popularity.

In 2016, Bad Gyal dropped her first mixtape, Slow Wine Mixtape, which introduced her to the Spanish urban music scene. Her next mixtape, Worldwide Angel in 2018, solidified her status as a rising star.
