Miles Parks McCollum (born August 23, 1997) was born in Mableton, Georgia, United States. He is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He is professionally known as Lil Yachty. He rose to prominence in 2015 through his viral singles "One Night" and "Minnesota," which featured notable artists such as Quavo, Skippa Da Flippa, and Young Thug. These tracks were part of his debut EP titled Summer Songs. Following this initial success, Lil Yachty released his debut mixtape, Lil Boat, in March 2016.
