Twice is a renowned South Korean girl group that was formed by JYP Entertainment, comprising of nine talented members, namely Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu. The group has attained immense success in their music career, both domestically and internationally, since their debut in 2015.

Their breakthrough came in 2016 with the release of their single "Cheer Up", which topped the Gaon Digital Chart, earning the best-performing single of the year title. The track also won "Song of the Year" at the Melon Music Awards and Mnet Asian Music Awards, further cementing the group's position in the music industry. Following the success of "Cheer Up," their next single, "TT," from their third EP, Twicecoaster: Lane 1, also topped the Gaon charts for four consecutive weeks. The EP was the highest-selling Korean girl group album of 2016.

Within a short period of 19 months after their debut, Twice had already sold over 1.2 million units of their four EPs and special album, further showcasing their popularity among their fans. As of December 2020, the group had sold over 10 million albums collectively in South Korea and Japan, making them the highest-selling K-Pop girl group of all time.
