Ball Greezy Bio & Journey

Ball Greezy, a rapper and singer from Miami, Florida, is known for his smooth, soulful, and party-ready music. Growing up in a musical family, he developed a love for rhythm at a young age. He often played drums alongside his guitarist father, earning money as a child. By his teenage years, Ball Greezy, along with his older brother, began writing and recording music in a local studio. When a friend leaked his tapes, the positive feedback from fans motivated him to take his music seriously.

His first performance came as an audition for 50/50 Entertainment, a Texas-based label, where he was selected to open for G Unit. This major opportunity taught him to perform confidently, with guidance from Larry Dogg, a respected figure in Miami's entertainment scene. Early in his career, Ball Greezy toured with Flo Rida, performing internationally, including in Dubai.

Greezy’s music reflects his deep love for soul, influenced by artists like Teddy Pendergrass and Bobby Womack. His unique sound also draws from southern rap icons like 8Ball & MJG and Scarface. In 2008, he gained widespread attention when his singles “I’m the Shit” and “Shone” charted on Billboard’s Hot 100 R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. This success led to a remix project, All or Nothing, featuring Rick Ross and Flo Rida.
