Broods is a music duo from Nelson, New Zealand, made up of siblings Georgia Nott (born 7 July 1994) and Caleb Nott (born 1 July 1992). Georgia handles lead vocals, while Caleb plays multiple instruments and works on production. They gained attention in 2014 with their single "Bridges," which reached No. 8 on New Zealand's charts. Shortly after, they signed with Capitol and Polydor Records.

Their debut EP, Broods, came out on 30 January 2014, followed by their first album, Evergreen, on 22 August 2014. This album solidified their reputation for producing dreamy pop tracks. In 2016, they released Conscious, showing a more polished and energetic sound. Their third album, Don’t Feed the Pop Monster, launched on 1 February 2019, featuring a mix of bold experimentation and heartfelt lyrics.

Music has always been central to their lives. Growing up in a musical family with three other siblings, they often performed together. Their parents were part of an ABBA tribute band, where Caleb and Georgia joined in at weddings and church events. As teenagers, they were members of an indie rock band, The Peasants, which won New Zealand’s Smokefreerockquest competition in 2011.
