Capella Grey, born Curtis Anthony Jackson II on August 2, 1995, in the Bronx, New York, is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, and record producer. He is the founder of the label Allepac the Family and gained major recognition in 2021 with his breakout hit "Gyalis." Capella began his music career by writing and producing for other artists, including King Combs’ song "Love You Better" featuring Chris Brown. He also signed the R&B group Rèign to his label and produced their debut album in 2019.
In 2020, Capella released his first mixtape, Yea Nah I'm Out, followed by The QuaranTape Vibe 1. However, his career skyrocketed in 2021 with the release of "Gyalis," a track that samples Juvenile’s "Back That Azz Up." The song quickly went viral and earned widespread acclaim, reaching #10 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and becoming the unofficial summer anthem. He later dropped an official remix with Popcaan and Chris Brown.
Capella Grey continued his successful run in 2021 with features on DreamDoll's "You Know My Body" and the release of "Talk Nice" and "Confujawn."
