Vladislav Balovatsky (born November 23, 1994) was born in a small town in Siberia, Russia. He is a German rapper. He is professionally known as Capital Bra. He grew up in Dnipro, Ukraine, before moving to Berlin, Germany, with his mother in the early 2000s. Capital Bra started rapping when he was 11 years old. In 2014, he took part in a German battle rap tournament called Rap am Mittwoch. This was a big step towards his solo career as a rapper.

He released his first studio album, Kuku Bra, in January 2016. While it had only minor success in Germany, it marked the beginning of his journey in the music industry. In 2017, he released two more albums, Makarov Complex and Blyat, in February and September respectively. These albums did much better, reaching the top 5 in German-speaking countries. His fourth album, Berlin lebt, came out in 2018 and became a big hit. It reached number one in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Later that same year, he released another album, Allein, which debuted at number two on the German album charts.

Today, Capital Bra is the most successful German artist in terms of chart performance. He has achieved 22 number-one songs in Germany, making him a significant figure in the German music scene.
